Since 2009, Mentors Care has strengthened our partnerships, expanded our programs, and celebrated 7 years of changing lives in Ellis County.
By believing in the idea that all students want and need a mentor to be successful, but especially our at-risk students, we have embarked on building a program of reaching out to our communities to recruit adult mentors to be a friend to our at-risk students. Our at-risk high school students need someone to believe in them, so we partner with students that are identified as at-risk due to having made bad decisions, having bad relationships or are living in circumstances outside of their control. As a result, hundreds of students have taken a path of success to believe in the importance of an education, we were able to access services in their community and build new lives full of hope and opportunities.
2015-2016 was a tremendous year of success; we’re embarking on an exciting journey and, we can’t wait to show you the things we have planned.
Please take a few minutes to celebrate our achievements. Our work would not be possible without you.
