Ronn retired from public schools in Texas after 31 years as a teacher, coach and school administrator. He spent a more than a year as a college assistant baseball coach and adjunct professor also. His wife, Julie (a 30-year elementary school teacher) and he spent 13 years of their careers in Palmer, Texas with four sons attending Palmer public schools. Now they have four grandchildren attending the Palmer schools as well!
Ronn graduated from High School in Richardson, Texas. He earned a bachelor’s degree from Stephen F. Austin State University and later a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership from UT Tyler.
He enjoys working with high school students and helping them to grow into adulthood. In his free time he’s usually doing family things and loves being involved in the lives and activities of his family members. He enjoys fishing, hunting, sports and other outdoor activities and is an associate scout for the Toronto Blue Jays and formerly for the New York Mets professional baseball teams! Ronn and his family are members of The Avenue Church in Waxahachie!
